Kris Shetler - Smith Grind
I got a couple of the smith grind and it seems I'm having a severe case of focus sickness. Not one of them turned out to my satisfaction because they all look soft at full size; you'll probably not be able to tell here, but I'm generally unstoked on my focusing skills. Everytime I shoot a portrait I get someones neck sharp but have the face soft or for instance on the photo below the leaves in the back are more in focus than the people. I guess I can blame my lens to a certain extent because it's very difficult to use with AF, but even with checking my LCD everything always seems fine til I capture.
But who cares really? The day these photos were taken was more than fun!(notice my new header? photo: Richard Jackson) I just seem to enjoy pointing out my own errors. Enjoy! and click to enlarge.
